The Hunt
7/10 = Worth Seeing / Recommend to Others
This film was in the same vein as Doubt. Really interesting to see this story unfold.
Seeds can be planted in the minds of children that shape their reality of situations but might not necessarily be the truth. Often adults can feed into that and make a minor situation into a major
Human behavior can be a dangerous and intriguing thing.
Mads Mikkelsen is so hot by the way. I know Im supposed to hate his character in Hannibal but I find his sadism just makes him more attractive to me. Best Actor/ Best Person

This woman is the gold digger of all gold diggers. Let this movie be a lesson to all who will do anything for money. It was funny yet terribly sad. where was this girls father smh.

Isabelle Huppert. Nuff said.  She’s like the french Tilda Swinton.
Getting into this film though, there are several moments throughout where you just want to slap the shit out this womans son through the screen.
I’ve never seen that kind of blatant disrespect before in my life. It was so bad I wanted to call my mama and haver cuss ME out just so I’d never think abt saying the things this young man said to his mother. You are a grown ass man, why the fuck do you think it’s your right to tell your mother how she should live her life. You still live under HER roof!
Towards the end you begin to realize that it was the father seeding lies into his son about their mother , but that sort of behavior should have been nipped in the bud the FIRST time it happened. Everyone’s to blame in this film. Truly a case of arrested development all the way around

A Separation
Rating: 6/10 = Decent and Not Unhappy to Have Viewed / May Recommend to Select People
I didn’t hate it but I don’t see why the critics were raving about this film, calling it the foreign film of the year. I watched an interview with the cast where an audience member remarked “It was like you weren’t even acting, like you were all just living your lives”. Dude acted like he hadn’t seen a good film in his life. When it comes to films where characters seem so real you forget they’re acting, the french do it best.
Leila Hatami’s , the woman with the red hair, performance was vapid and I didn’t see much depth to her character. Maybe that was supposed to be symbolic in a way but I wasn’t here for her.
I’m watching Carnage right now by that filth Roman Polanski. Not a fan of his, but someone told me I needed to watch it because these two films are almost the same. Plus Jodi Foster is amazeballs!!

Midnight in Paris

I saw this film an was thoroughly unimpressed I just don’t get what yall see in Woody. I’ve seen a handful of his most acclaimed films and I’m always left thinking “you guys shit yourselves over THIS O_o”
Great to look at though. Paris is beautiful no doubt.

Rating: 9 = Great Film / Likely Masterpiece
ALL THE AWARDS! ALL OF THEM
Really enjoyed this film. The story is simple but I think it deserves the noms for the technical aspects of the film. Lighting, framing etc… If you’re always looking for that kind of stuff you’ll love this film. It’s not for everyone but I liked it.

Kill List
Rating: 6/10 = Decent and Not Unhappy to Have Viewed/ May Recommend to Select People
My review : It’s A Serbian film without the graphic porn . Liked it until it made no sense and ended with unanswered questions. A film should speak for itself.EVERY question was left unanswered If this was a social commentary of Britain much like A Serbian film is to Serbia than A Serbian film did it better. I still liked it though but…

Fran Lebowitz Public Speaking Rating : 8/10 ( Must See/ Worth Owning)
Really loved this documentary. To me Fran is like the white Paul Mooney. If you’re a fan of women like Wanda Sykes, Chelsea Handler and Kathy Griffin you’ll love this.  Plus, she’s besties with Toni  Morrison which is the oddest pairing to me.
