Rating: 6/10 = Decent and Not Unhappy to Have Viewed / May Recommend to Select People
I didn’t hate it but I don’t see why the critics were raving about this film, calling it the foreign film of the year. I watched an interview with the cast where an audience member remarked “It was like you weren’t even acting, like you were all just living your lives”. Dude acted like he hadn’t seen a good film in his life. When it comes to films where characters seem so real you forget they’re acting, the french do it best.
Leila Hatami’s , the woman with the red hair, performance was vapid and I didn’t see much depth to her character. Maybe that was supposed to be symbolic in a way but I wasn’t here for her.
I’m watching Carnage right now by that filth Roman Polanski. Not a fan of his, but someone told me I needed to watch it because these two films are almost the same. Plus Jodi Foster is amazeballs!!
