Im amazed this didnt come across my dash with a billion ignorant comments full of vitriol and ignorance taking Colbert at face value.

I actually really love this because he may have been messing around but this is a good way to think. If you see everyone as one race- namely, the one you are- then you are more likely to focus on their personalities. There are always going to be assholes and good people in each race so it’s pointless to judge people on the color of their skin or what country they’re from when you can just judge them on the fact that they’re an asshole
